Galcher Lustwerk's "Bansby" marks his second standalone single of 2021, following the dub/instrumentals album Information (Redacted). Like the previous cut "Can't Believe," here the New York-based producer moves smoothly through his faster BPM mindset. It's a club-ready cadence punched up by ghetto-tech-influenced vocal chopping, Minneapolis sound rhythm/groove, and hazy jabs of nightlife one-liners ("I'm gonna make it rain / spicin' up ya life / I go through new heights").
Moodymann creates innovative soul funky music with deep 70s inspiration. The vocals are simply outstanding. A step back in time, 50 years ago! Superb. jef37
All the tracks are great but Stepper is the standout for me! pounding syncopated kicks, rolling handdrums and playful sample work, dancefloor destroyer. Jack G.
